General

Where are Etan Trampolines manufactured?

All Etan trampolines and spare parts are produced exclusively using European materials at Etan’s own production facility in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Curious about our story? You can read more about it here.

Can I try out Etan trampolines in a showroom?

Absolutely! Etan Trampolines has its own showroom in Boxtel (North Brabant, The Netherlands). Several trampolines are available to try out, including:

Etan Premium trampoline on legs Ø 305 cm / grey

Also on display in our showroom, but not available for testing:

Etan UltraFlat trampoline 366 x 366 cm

How much space should I keep free around a trampoline?

We recommend keeping at least two metres of free space around every trampoline. This helps prevent children from bumping into walls, fences or other objects while jumping.

How do I level a trampoline?

Levelling a trampoline is important to prevent it from standing unevenly. Depending on your trampoline model, check whether the ground is level before installation. An inground trampoline is placed into a pit, so it’s essential that the edges of the excavated hole are level. With a flat to the ground trampoline, you dig a flat pit and place paving slabs where the legs will stand. These slabs reinforce the trampoline frame and help prevent subsidence.

Do I need to anchor a trampoline?

Yes, anchoring a trampoline is strongly recommended, especially in windy conditions. With the Etan trampoline anchoring set, trampolines on high legs can be securely and easily fixed in place to ensure safety. Anchoring is not necessary for inground or flat to the ground trampolines.

Buying Guide

How do I choose the right trampoline?

Trampolines come in many different models, shapes and sizes, which can make choosing the right one challenging. With our Trampoline Buying Guide, you can determine in just a few steps which Etan trampoline best suits your situation. Still unsure? Please contact our customer service team — they will be happy to provide expert advice.

What is the best trampoline?

Which trampoline is the best depends on several factors, such as the quality of the materials used. However, your personal situation is just as important — what may be the best trampoline for someone else does not necessarily have to be the best choice for you. In this blog article, we explain the differences between all Etan trampolines in more detail.

What is the difference between an inground and a flat to the ground trampoline?

Both an inground trampoline and a flat to the ground trampoline need to be installed in the ground. There is one clear difference: an inground trampoline still protrudes approximately 30 centimetres above ground level, while a flat to the ground trampoline is completely level with the lawn. It is not possible to attach a safety net to a flat to the ground trampoline, whereas this is possible with an inground trampoline.

There is a bend in the frame of my rectangular trampoline. Is this correct?

Yes, individual trampoline parts for both current and older Etan trampoline models can be ordered from our webshop. If you cannot find a specific part or need assistance, please contact us and we will be happy to help.

How do I measure a spring?

If you want to measure the length of a trampoline spring, measure the entire spring including the hooks. Before measuring, remove the springs from the trampoline so that they are in a relaxed state.

Can I repair my trampoline mat myself?

In some cases, a trampoline mat can be repaired. However, it is important to know when this is still possible. Therefore, the following points should be considered:

- Is there a single hole in the mat smaller than a 2-euro coin? Then the mat can often be repaired using a trampoline repair kit.

- Are there multiple holes smaller than a 2-euro coin, or a hole larger than a 2-euro coin? Then it is advisable to replace the mat.

- Has the trampoline mat become gray and dull? Then it is also advisable to replace it. Once the mat turns gray and dull, this indicates that its UV resistance has been compromised and the material has become brittle. This increases the risk of tearing, which could compromise the safety of your child(ren).

Which replacement trampoline mat do I need?

To find out which trampoline mat you need, follow these steps:

1. Measure the outer dimensions of the trampoline

2. Count the number of trampoline springs

3. Measure the length of the springs, including the hooks, in a relaxed state

4. Check the type of triangle: is it a metal triangle or a plastic triangle?

See which trampoline mat meets these requirements, or use our mat buying guide.

How do I replace a trampoline mat?

Once the old mat has been removed from the trampoline, lay the new mat unfolded into the frame. Attach one spring in each direction to connect the mat to the frame. Then go around several times, attaching a spring every five triangles, until the entire mat is secured to the frame.

Which replacement trampoline safety pad do I need?

There are a few important things to consider when choosing the right trampoline safety pad for your trampoline:

1. Is your trampoline on legs, inground, or level with the ground?

2. What are the dimensions of your trampoline?

3. Does your trampoline have a safety net?

4. Use our safety pad buying guide and enter all the information. You will then see all available options. The choice is yours!

When should I replace my trampoline frame?

Is your trampoline frame rusty? Rust on the legs or in the slots where the springs are attached can be dangerous. Replacing it in time is essential!

Our trampoline frames are not standardly offered in our webshop. Looking for a specific frame? Contact our customer service – they will be happy to assist you.
