A trampoline is a fantastic way for children and adults to stay active and have fun in the garden. Jumping not only improves motor skills and coordination, but it is also a healthy form of exercise that enhances fitness and balance. However, fun should never come at the expense of safety. A safety net is therefore an essential accessory for any trampoline. It protects jumpers from falling off the trampoline and prevents accidents, without limiting the jumping fun.

Why a safety net is important

Although trampolines are designed to be sturdy and durable, there is always a risk of accidents. Children can lose balance, jump off unexpectedly, or multiple children jumping at the same time can lead to collisions. A good safety net keeps jumpers safely within the jumping area. Etan safety nets are specially designed to be strong, weather-resistant, and easy to install. Choosing a high-quality net from Etan ensures both fun and safety for many years of use.

Etan safety nets are made of high-quality, UV-resistant material that prevents tearing and withstands daily use. The nets come with strong poles with safe finishes, so there are no sharp edges that could cause injuries. Thanks to the thoughtful design, the net is safe, stable, and easy to install on the trampoline, regardless of its shape or size.

Compatible trampolines

Etan safety nets are suitable for almost all types of trampolines we offer. Whether you have a round trampoline, rectangular trampoline, square trampoline, or a ground-level trampoline, there is always a suitable net available. We also provide the right safety solution for sunken trampolines or trampolines on legs.

  • Round trampolines – ideal for families with children of different ages. The round shape automatically guides jumpers towards the center, providing extra safety.
  • Rectangular trampolines – perfect for experienced jumpers who want to achieve higher jumps. The safety net prevents jumpers from falling off the sides.
  • Square trampolines – provide extra jumping space and are suitable for multiple jumpers at the same time. A strong net is crucial here to prevent accidents.
  • Sunken trampolines – for a clean and safe integration into the garden. The nets provide extra protection for trampolines installed almost at ground level.
  • Ground-level trampolines – offer maximum safety and make stepping on easy. A net keeps children safely within the jumping area.
  • Trampolines on legs – standard in many gardens. The safety net prevents falls from greater heights and makes the trampoline suitable for younger children and beginners.

Our trampoline safety nets

Etan offers a wide range of safety nets that fit different trampoline shapes and sizes.

Safety nets by trampoline type and sizes

Below is an overview of Etan safety nets, including the corresponding trampoline outer dimensions. This allows you to see exactly which net is suitable for your trampoline:

Installing the safety net

One of the advantages of Etan safety nets is that they are easy to install. The nets come with clear instructions and all the necessary mounting materials. Installation usually proceeds as follows:

  1. First, check the trampoline and remove any loose parts.
  2. Attach the safety net poles to the trampoline legs or frame, depending on the model.
  3. Stretch the net over the trampoline and secure it with the supplied clips or zippers.
  4. Check that the net is properly fastened everywhere and that there are no gaps through which children could crawl.

It is important to regularly inspect the net for wear and loose parts to ensure safety is always maintained.

Maintenance and safety tips

To extend the life of your safety net and keep the trampoline safe, here are some simple maintenance tips:

  • Regularly check the net for tears or damage.
  • Clean the net with a soft brush and mild soapy water.
  • Ensure that the poles and attachment points are securely fastened.
  • Remove snow or heavy leaves from the net to prevent sagging.
  • Keep the trampoline free from sharp objects and ensure children do not wear shoes while jumping.

Additional benefits of Etan safety nets

Besides immediate safety, our nets offer other advantages:

  • UV-resistant material prevents the net from fading or becoming brittle in sunlight.
  • Easy to install and remove, ideal for relocation or winter storage.
  • Compatible with most Etan trampolines, so you can always find the right net.
  • Extra tall and strong net for Sky-Flyer models for jumpers who want to jump higher.
  • Various colors and designs available to match your trampoline and garden.

Conclusion

A trampoline is a source of fun and exercise for the whole family, but safety should never be overlooked. With a safety net from Etan, you ensure that children and adults can jump safely without the risk of falling or injury. Whether you have a round, rectangular, square, or ground-level trampoline, Etan always has the right safety net. Thanks to durable material, easy installation, and compatibility with various trampolines, you can enjoy your trampoline worry-free for years.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I order parts for a trampoline net?

Yes! Most suppliers keep trampoline net parts in stock. In some cases, models are so old that parts aren’t available anymore. If that happens, we recommend getting a completely new net.

Note: For safety reasons, a damaged net should be replaced immediately!

Why is there a net around trampolines on legs?

For “medium or larger” recreational trampolines on legs, the European standard EN 71-14 requires a safety net.

Etan prioritizes safety – we only supply upright trampolines with a safety net. Using a trampoline on legs without a net is considered irresponsible today due to the risk of injury.

How much does a trampoline net cost?

A complete trampoline net ranges from around €30 up to €700.

What affects the price:

  • Trampoline size
  • Material choice (poles, net, top rail)
  • Finishing
  • Origin (labor)

Experience shows that a cheap net wears out, tears, or breaks over time – along with all the safety risks. A good-quality net gives years of safety and can take a bit of a beating.

Etan’s safety net frames are made entirely of steel, making them the safest and most robust trampoline nets.

How high should a trampoline net be?

At least 180 cm measured from the jumping mat. This minimum height is legally required.

Is a trampoline net dangerous?

Nope! A trampoline net actually makes jumping safer, as long as the net and top rail are strong enough.
