The space in your garden, your budget, and your personal preferences all play an important role in choosing the right trampoline. But isn’t a trampoline just a trampoline? Not at all — nothing could be further from the truth. There are big differences between our trampoline lines — from quality to color and design. So, which trampoline suits you best? Will you go for a traditional round trampoline, or does a rectangular or square model fit your garden better? Even more important: will you choose a trampoline on legs, an inground trampoline, or a flat to the ground trampoline? So many choices and options! We’re here to make it easier for you. At Etan Trampolines, we offer four different quality lines: Etan Sky-Flyer, Etan Premium, Etan PremiumFlat and Etan UltraFlat. Still not sure which trampoline is right for you? Below, you’ll find a clear explanation of the differences.

Quality
?
The quality of a trampoline is determined by several factors, including its place of production, bounce comfort, safety features, and material quality. The higher the quality, the longer the lifespan of the trampoline. That’s why we always recommend investing in a trampoline that will let you enjoy years of safe, carefree jumping throughout childhood.

Price range
?

Colours
?
The colour of your trampoline is, of course, completely based on personal taste. However, we often see that green trampolines blend beautifully into natural gardens, while anthracite grey trampolines look perfect in modern, stone-dominated settings. The choice is yours!

Available shapes
?
Trampolines come in different shapes. Round trampolines have a central bounce point, allowing for smooth and balanced jumps. With rectangular trampolines, jumping on one side creates a tension effect in the springs, giving you a slight “launch effect” — perfect for doing tricks. In the end, it all comes down to personal preference. Both shapes guarantee maximum jumping fun!

Manufactured in
?
When purchasing a trampoline, it is important to consider where the trampoline was manufactured. Asian production is often less durable than European production. In addition, European trampolines use genuine high-quality components.

Maximum user weight
?
The maximum user weight of a trampoline indicates the weight up to which a person can safely jump without damaging the frame, springs, or jumping mat. It is a safety measure that prevents the trampoline from becoming unstable or wearing out prematurely and helps to avoid injuries.

Trampoline safety pad
?
A trampoline safety pad, also called a trampoline edge pad, is the soft padding that surrounds the jumping surface. It protects the jumper from the hard metal springs and the trampoline frame, significantly reducing the risk of injury while jumping. The pad is usually made of sturdy foam and water-resistant material, providing both comfort and safety during use.
|
||||
|
Material safety pad
?
The quality of a trampoline is determined by many factors, including the place of manufacture, jumping comfort, safety features, and material quality. The higher the quality, the longer the trampoline’s lifespan. We therefore always recommend investing in a high-quality trampoline to ensure children can jump safely throughout their entire childhood.

Safety pad thickness
?
The thickness of the trampoline safety pad is one of the most important safety factors. The pad covers the springs and frame, greatly reducing the risk of injury from falls or slips. A thick, sturdy pad provides extra protection against impacts, while a thin pad may shift more easily or offer insufficient cushioning.

Trampoline jumping mat
?
The trampoline jumping mat is the central part of the trampoline where you actually jump. It is a strong, resilient fabric attached to the trampoline frame with metal springs. The mat provides the lift needed for jumping and is specifically designed to withstand heavy weight and repeated use. Together with the trampoline safety pad, the mat forms the core of a safe and enjoyable trampoline experience.

||||
|
Material jumping mat
?
Trampoline jumping mats are made of PE (polyethylene). PE is a plastic that is easy to manufacture. There is PE from Asian sources and PE from European sources. European PE is often sold under the name Permatron. This is a high-quality PE with a significantly longer lifespan than Asian PE. Additionally, Permatron has a UV-protective layer that reduces sun damage. PVC, on the other hand, is much stiffer than PE and has an open structure, making it far more breathable.

Diamond System
?
All Etan Premium and Etan UltraFlat trampoline mats feature Etan’s unique Diamond System. This system replaces the traditional iron triangle with a plastic triangle that alternates between oval and round openings. This activates half of the springs first and the other half a fraction of a second later, allowing both young and old to jump smoothly.

Overlay jumping mat
?
On all Etan Premium and Etan UltraFlat trampoline mats, there is a flap covering the springs. This flap ensures that the springs are covered and cannot be touched while jumping.

Material triangle
?
Triangles are the triangular connectors that attach the trampoline springs to the trampoline mat. Iron triangles tend to rust due to various weather conditions. Plastic triangles, on the other hand, are frost-, rust-, and weather-resistant.

Trampoline safety net
?
A trampoline safety net is a protective net placed around the trampoline to prevent jumpers from falling off. The net is usually attached to vertical poles and the edge of the trampoline, often on top of the trampoline safety pad, to maximize safety. The safety net ensures that children and adults can jump safely without the risk of serious injury in case of a fall.
|
||||
|
Connection net
?
The way the safety net is attached affects the jumping surface. If it is mounted on the inside of the safety pad, it provides extra protection against the springs. Children cannot reach the springs with their feet this way.

Opening
?
All Etan Sky-Flyer nets feature a zipper for opening and closing the net. The Etan Premium safety nets have a so-called step-through system.

Trampoline frame
?
The trampoline frame is the sturdy metal structure on which the trampoline is built. The frame supports both the trampoline mat and the trampoline safety pad and ensures that the trampoline remains stable and safe during jumping. The frame is usually made of galvanized steel, making it resistant to weather and rust, and giving the trampoline a solid foundation.
|
||||
|
Material frame
?
The Etan Premium and Etan UltraFlat trampolines, like the Etan Sky-Flyer, are made from galvanized steel. Galvanization prevents the steel from rusting.

Frame thickness
?
A thicker frame means a stronger construction and therefore a longer lifespan.

Trampoline springs
?
Trampoline springs are the metal coils that connect the trampoline jumping mat to the frame. They provide the elasticity that makes jumping possible. The longer and stronger the springs, the smoother and higher the jump.
|
||||
|
Material springs
?
Trampoline springs are made of steel. Steel can rust if it is not properly treated. All springs of our Etan trampolines contain zinc in the steel, so they cannot rust under any circumstances.

|
Spring length
?
Longer trampoline springs allow for deeper, longer, and bigger jumps. This makes the jump smoother and easier to control. Shorter springs, on the other hand, result in shorter and tighter jumps.

Warranty
?
The warranty on a trampoline covers manufacturing defects. This means that if something goes wrong during production, such as a defect in the trampoline frame, mat, safety pad, or other components, it will be repaired or replaced within the warranty period. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, overloading, or normal wear and tear, but it provides assurance that the product is free from production defects at the time of purchase.
