What is the difference between an “in-ground” and a “flat to the ground” trampoline?

The main difference is the placement of the frame. While flat to the ground trampolines sit completely flush with ground level, in-ground trampolines are positioned about 25 cm above ground level. The frame of both types is exactly the same. For in-ground trampolines, the frame is placed on the edge of the pit, whereas for flat to the ground trampolines, the frame is dug into the pit.

What is the Diamond System of the Etan Premium trampoline?

The Diamond System from Etan Trampolines is our unique triangle system. While many brands use steel triangles to attach the springs to the trampoline jumping mat, we have chosen to use fully synthetic triangles. These triangles are frost-resistant and will not break. The problem with steel triangles is that they tend to rust, stretch, or tear over the years.

The Diamond System ensures that both children and adults can jump smoothly on the trampoline. Thanks to the alternating round and oval openings in the triangle, not all springs have to stretch at the same time. This means your child doesn’t have to stretch all 96 trampoline springs at once, but instead 48 at one moment and the other 48 a fraction of a second later. This reduces impact, provides a smoother bounce, and results in more smiling faces!

Why does the jumping mat of the Etan Premium trampolines have an extra flap?

Within all parts of the Etan Premium trampolines, we strive to make improvements to guarantee safety at all times. The inner side of the trampoline safety pad features an additional inner sleeve, which ensures a better connection between the safety pad and the jumping mat.

In addition, we have attached an extra flap to the trampoline jumping mat, located on the outer edge of the mat. This flap covers the springs, providing extra protection. The combination of the jumping mat’s extra flap and the inner sleeve of the safety pad ensures that children’s hands and feet cannot come into contact with the trampoline springs under any circumstances.
