Looking for a round trampoline? Safe jumps for young and old

Would you like to buy a round trampoline that ensures years of safe and enjoyable outdoor play? A round trampoline has long been a family favorite — and for good reason. The round shape provides natural safety, stability, and bounce comfort. At Etan Trampolines, you’ll find a wide range of round trampolines suitable for every garden and every type of jumper — from toddler to teenager.

Whether you’re looking for a small trampoline for a compact garden or a large trampoline to jump with several children at once — we always have a suitable solution.

Why choose a round trampoline?

The round trampoline is designed with safety and simplicity in mind. Thanks to the even spring tension, you are automatically guided to the center of the trampoline while jumping. This makes this model ideal for children or jumpers who are still a bit inexperienced.

In addition, the round shape distributes the pressure evenly across the trampoline frame. This not only ensures a stable jump but also extends the lifespan of your trampoline.

Advantages of a round trampoline:

  • Automatic guidance to the center = extra safety

  • Even bounce tension across the entire trampoline jumping mat

  • Less chance of bumping into the trampoline safety pad

  • Robust construction due to optimal power distribution

Types of round trampolines at Etan

At Etan Trampolines, you can choose from different types of round trampolines, depending on your garden, preferences, and jumping goals.

✅ Round inground trampoline

This trampoline is partially dug in, with the jumping area about 20 cm above ground level. This space is needed for proper air circulation while jumping. Thanks to the air openings on the sides of the trampoline edge pad, air can escape effortlessly, resulting in soft, controlled jumps. Extra safe in combination with a trampoline safety net — ideal for young children!

✅ Round flat to the ground trampoline

Want your trampoline to blend seamlessly into your garden design? Then a round flat to the ground trampoline is perfect. It lies completely flush with the grass and features a specially developed Etan OptiFlow trampoline jumping mat for optimal air displacement. The result: a sleek design and maximum safety thanks to the low entry height.

✅ Round trampoline on legs

Prefer no digging? Then choose a round trampoline on legs. These models are easy to set up and move around — ideal if flexibility is important or if you want to store the trampoline during winter. Use a trampoline ladder to easily climb onto the jumping surface.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a round trampoline better for children?

Yes, a round trampoline is best for kids. The jump point is in the center, so children are naturally guided toward the middle. This makes it safer and more predictable than rectangular trampolines, which tend to produce more targeted and powerful jumps.

What's the difference between PremiumFlat & UltraFlat?

The steel frame of the Etan UltraFlat is 1.2 mm thicker than that of the Etan PremiumFlat. Plus, the UltraFlat frame is square (tube-shaped) while the PremiumFlat frame is round.

Because of the thicker, square frame, the UltraFlat jumps much better than the PremiumFlat and also has a longer lifespan.

Why choose an Etan Premium trampoline?

An Etan Premium trampoline gives fun, quality, durability, and looks great too! Not just for a few years – these trampolines are made to provide years of enjoyment. They are produced in Europe, feature strong safety pads, durable jumping mats, and unique safety solutions.

Which type of trampoline is best?

We define three types of trampolines: above-ground, inground, and flat.

  • Above-ground trampolines are generally considered the safest and offer practical benefits: no digging needed, flexible, easy to move, and a quality safety net can prevent falls.
  • Inground trampolines are partially sunk into the ground, look discreet in the garden, and are easily accessible for children.
  • Flat trampolines sit flush with the ground and are very aesthetic.

Which type suits your situation best depends on usage, desired location, and preferences for appearance and safety.

Note: an inground or flat trampoline cannot be installed everywhere. When in doubt, consult one of our specialists.

What shapes of trampolines are there?

Round, oval, rectangular, and square. Which shape suits you best depends entirely on the user, the desired location, and the space around the trampoline. Not sure? Get in touch with us!
