A trampoline safety pad is an essential part of every trampoline. The safety pad ensures that the trampoline springs and metal frame are fully covered, significantly reducing the risk of injury. Especially for children, who often make unexpected jumps or lose their balance, a properly fitting safety pad is indispensable for safe play in the garden.
At Etan Trampolines, safety, quality, and durability are central. That’s why all trampoline safety pads are developed with careful attention to material choice, fit, and ease of use. Whether you have a trampoline on legs or an inground trampoline integrated neatly into your garden, Etan’s range always includes a safety pad that perfectly matches your trampoline and jumping style.
When jumping on a trampoline, large forces are released. The jumping mat moves continuously, the springs stretch, and the frame absorbs tension. Without a safety pad, these components are fully exposed. A wrong landing or slip can lead to painful injuries to feet, ankles, or legs.
A trampoline safety pad forms a soft yet sturdy barrier between the jumper and these hard components. The pad fully covers the springs and prevents feet or hands from getting caught. At the same time, it provides a neat and safe finish to the trampoline.
Besides safety, comfort is also important. A quality safety pad feels solid, stays in place, and fits seamlessly with the jumping mat. While jumping, you hardly notice where the pad begins, yet you are optimally protected.
Etan trampoline safety pads are designed and manufactured with long-term use in mind. The materials withstand intensive jumping, changing weather conditions, and UV exposure. This ensures that the safety pads retain their shape and protective function even after years of use.
Additionally, Etan safety pads are always specifically tailored to the trampoline type. This takes into account factors such as trampoline shape, height, spring or elastic band type, and the presence of a safety net. This precise fit ensures optimal performance and maximum safety.
Within Etan Trampolines’ range, multiple types of safety pads are available. Each type is designed for a specific trampoline setup and use case.
Some Premium trampoline safety pads are specially designed to work with trampolines with a safety net. These pads feature a clever sleeve that leaves space for the net, so it fits neatly between the pad and the frame. This keeps the trampoline fully enclosed and safe.
These pads are suitable for trampolines on legs as well as inground trampolines with an external net. Thanks to this design, children cannot get between the net and the pad, while the overall look remains neat and tight.
For pads suitable for trampolines with a net, see our Premium trampoline safety pads.
For inground trampolines without a safety net, there is a special inground trampoline safety pad. This pad has an extra-long sleeve that fits deep into the trampoline. Breathable mesh material is incorporated at the bottom.
This mesh allows air displaced during jumping to escape easily. This reduces air resistance under the trampoline, keeping the jump smooth and stable. These safety pads are suitable for standard inground trampolines as well as Etan’s Hi-Flyer and Sky-Flyer models.
All Etan Premium safety pads are equipped with an inner sleeve. This inner flap fits perfectly with the jumping mat, preventing gaps between the pad and mat.
Etan Xchange trampoline safety pads are developed as an accessible and affordable solution. These pads are universally applicable and suitable for many common trampoline sizes. They offer a good balance between price, safety, and durability.
Xchange safety pads are ideal if you want to refresh an older trampoline or need a reliable pad for recreational use. Thanks to easy installation and a wide size range, these pads are popular with families.

Choosing the right trampoline safety pad starts with determining the shape of your trampoline. Etan offers pads for both round and rectangular trampolines. The pad’s shape must always exactly match the trampoline’s shape.
The size is also crucial. Always measure the trampoline’s outer dimensions including the frame. A pad that is too small will leave gaps, while one that is too large may shift or fold. Both situations compromise safety.
The type of springs or elastic bands also matters. Some trampolines use traditional steel springs, while others use elastic bands. Etan safety pads are designed to work optimally with these different systems. If you use elastic bands, also see the corresponding trampoline elastic bands for a perfect fit.
Etan trampoline safety pads are built from multiple layers. The top layer is wear-resistant, water-repellent, and UV-resistant. This keeps the pad looking neat and preserves its protective properties even under prolonged sun and rain exposure.
The padding consists of thick, resilient foam that absorbs shocks and retains its shape. Even under intensive use, the safety pad remains comfortable and safe.
Over time, any safety pad can show signs of wear. Think of thinning padding, cracks in the outer layer, or a less snug fit on the jumping mat. These are clear signals that replacement is needed.
A new trampoline safety pad not only restores safety but also extends the life of your trampoline. At Etan, you can order individual pads that perfectly fit your existing trampoline.
