Buying a small trampoline, what should I pay attention to?
Would you like to buy a small trampoline now, but don’t know what to pay attention to when buying one? Then pay attention to these tips. First of all, the trampoline springs. Small trampolines often come with springs that are not too long. This is because, with larger springs, not much jumping space remains. Pay attention, however, that you don’t compromise too much on the length of the springs. A small trampoline with springs of 14 cm is already on the small side. Look for a small trampoline with springs between 16 and 18 cm, these are the most common. There is also a lot of difference between a zinc-coated spring and a zinc-impregnated spring. The former will rust after a few years and the latter hardly at all. Besides that, you also have the material of the triangles that are attached to the trampoline jumping mat. Traditional trampoline jumping mats are made with iron triangles. These triangles will rust in time and eventually they can break. The Etan Premium trampoline jumping mats are made with Etan’s synthetic triangles. These are frost- and rustproof and cannot break. All in all, there are a number of factors to consider when choosing your small trampoline. Stick to these and you’ll have years of jumping fun on your small, but fine, trampoline.
Small trampoline with net, Etan Hi-Flyer or Etan Premium?
9 out of 10 times, a small trampoline doesn’t have such a large jumping surface. That’s why it’s important to choose a trampoline with every cm of jumping surface you want. For example, a small Etan Hi-Flyer trampoline is made with a trampoline safety net, which is attached to the inside of the trampoline safety pad. This means you lose some jumping space because you can hardly stand on the edge without damaging the safety net. With Etan Premium trampolines with enclosure, the safety net is attached to the outside of the safety pads. This leaves the rim free to stand on when you want to take a break while jumping. Go for as much space as possible and go for Etan Premium!
